Monday July 30 thru Saturday August 4, 2018.
Boated 26 fish during week in 145 FOW to 255 Fow. 1 fish was A Steelhead. J Plugs, meat rigs, flies, squids and spoons.
The old Michigan Stinger Slasher worked very well with a glow squid. Thermocline at 60 feet, surface temp at 72 to 78 degrees. Majority of fish between 40 feet and 70 feet. Marking huge bait balls and tons of fish. Fished 4 guys in my boat after having to fix another electrical issue. The guy that fixed my electrical issues in May hooked the battery chargers two banks to one deep cell battery and fried the charger and the battery. Other than that had a great time, it was very windy.

Great report. Thanks.
Going to be fishing out of Manistee this Sunday on a friends boat. Hope the fish and the weather cooperate.

Be careful the wind was unpredictable and the waves were high. Please wear you life Jacket.
