Thought I was lucky getting drawn for the early hunt. Then it took six days to get a tom to come into range. I was getting worried.
Two toms and two hens came in together about 3PM on the 28th. First chance I got on the bigger tom I dropped him.
9-1/2" beard, 1-1/8" spurs.
Patty came up with a really tasty oven-fried turkey tenders recipe. Yuuummmm!

Thanks dog. I know how it feels to miss a season. I missed two in a row. It's really great to get back in the woods.
