Fished Straight out from Sterling S.P. last Friday. Kept 85 decent Perch. 22 FOW, using Riley's Perch rigs in Firetiger. Clear, Light wind. Fished today in 26 FOW, overcast, wind out of east, thunder then torrential rain. Kept 65 perch that were bigger than last time out. Pulled anchor at 10:30 am because of the rain, did not see anyone else on the water. Saw about 10 boats at dock, all had between 65 and 75 perch. No idea where they were fishing. Minnows were bigger this time at Jeff's.

"using Riley's Perch rigs in Firetiger" might want to try straight tight line rigs, Domka makes them and there at Jeff's Bait and Tackle. I'm trying a ice fishing lure called the "slayer" with a tear drop in line 1 foot up tied on 10lb mono leader this weekend with ultralight rod. Got some tips from a charter captain how to fish the slayer need to give it a try!

Fished same area today 26 FOW 2 man limit 6:30am to 1:30 pm Used Riley's Perch rigs , Tight Lines, Monroe Rigs with Homicidal Perch Flies, and Captain Jay's Slayer blade baits with various sinker weighs. All caught fish but nothing hot all day. It was bouncy out there at times and no buddy at fish cleaning station today. Water temp dropped 3 Degrees to 70F since last week.

H2O temp dropped 3 to 4 degrees since yesterday, very wavy today. Had to work for the fish today but they are in the lake somewhere.
