This Wednesday at our January meeting, we will have a seminar on the "How to, Why to, and When to" of crankbait fishing. We will also have a video on fishing crankbaits on Lake Erie's fabulous fall fishery out of Huron Ohio. We also will have an update on the Lake Erie walleye hatch for the last two years. Plus raffles and more.

The LSCWA meets on the third Wednesday of every month, Jan. 20th, at 7:30 pm, at the Lakeland Banquet Event Center, 21801 Nine Mile Rd, (East of Harper Rd), St Clair Shores, MI 48080. Hope to see you there!

Mustad triple grips, upgrade to generally #4. You can get them from Barlows tackle online.

When you replace the trebel hooks, what do you do with the old-new ones you took off?

Is there any way that the seminar will be available to watch on the LSCWA youtube channel?

From my understanding, some of the videos were posted in the past for others to see.

With that, some people took those ideas, materials, and tips from the videos shown in the club meeting, for themselves and sold those concepts off as their own to make a profit. Not asking permission or referring back to the originals videos.

For the most part, the club members are not out to make a profit or for personal gain in tournaments, charters, or other personal businesses. Many will gladly help out with advice, tips, and tricks, as long as its not for personal profit. Many members make items - like bottom bounces, jigs, etc, and offer those to the club members as great rates and most likely will never get rich off their hobby. Many members give back what they make to the club.

Keith,

I am working on this project now. It would be very expensive to replace all the hooks on cranks that I own. If you only had to replace 1 hook on each bait which would be the most important hook on a 2 hook bait or a 3 hook bait and please don't say replace all 3 I wish I could!

Thanks Steve
