Does anyone have a preference for a taxidermist?
I know there are quality shops who are good at fish.

I have a pervh mount from when I was a kid that looks horrible. So I'm not going there! My son has a perch mount a guy did in his basement that looks great. But I don't know his number. His name is Jeff and he lives in New Baltimore. Looking to mount a crappie.:bump:

First off nice fish!!

There are 2 taxidermist that advertise in our newsletter and both do good work. I unfortunately do not have anything on my wall from Michigan area so have only seen it second hand but they both do a good job.

here is the link from the one.

St Clair Flats Taxidermy does a fantastic job at very competitive prices. They are a long time sponsor of the LSCWA.

That's a great pic, can't wait to see it finished. Have you made a decision on who you're going to have mount it?

I did make a decision. I am going with a small local guy. Luckenbacher Taxidermy, I went to school with his wife. from the looks of his work he does a great job. Faster turn around time.
can't wait!!
