Can someone post Ron's reciepe for the white walleye chili.
I'm in a chili cook off at work and thought this would be a good way to use some frozen fish.

You can find the entire recipe in the December 2009 LSCWA Walleye World Newsletter. It is a Great recipe that reflects Ron's cooking skills. Good Luck with the chili cook off!!!

I am making Captain Ron's walleye chili for the chili cookoff at my church tomorrow.
I made a batch this past week to try it and it was great. I'm planning on sticking to the recipe with the addition of a little extra heat.
Hopefully that will sway the judges in my favor:P:eat:

I cooked with Ron for the cook-off that we won.  One of the things that set Ron's chili  ahead of the rest was that he used multiple kinds of beans. I remember asking him after I saw the recipe; "Ron, Are those black eyed peas?"  Ron had the classic Ron Grin and said: "Yes." Enough said.
Good Luck with your cook-off.

The chili was excellent! My crock pot was gone before the line was through the first time.
I took 3rd place, very pleased with that.
1st and 2nd were a chicken chili and a venison chili:eat:
