Awful broad question. 3 things make it run. Fuel (fresh), spark and compression. Need all of them together.

Pull start or electric start?

Easiest to start with is new plugs and a shot of fuel (carb cleaner, gas, stating fluid....) and then go from there.

A more specific question would be of great help.

ive worked on tons of motors..start with compression,if within 10%of each other check spark if thats good then u know you have a carb issue or fuel system issue
