Capt. Al scored on opening evening of the bear season. This bear weighed 398#. It was big. It was also a sow that was dry. Definitely a big bear.
Good Going Al.
Good Eating, MOOSE

But this big animal has really small eyes. I was amazed at how small the eyes were. She did not see Capt. Al pointing the 338-06 at her. She dropped straight down, put up a paw and waved good bye as she breathed her last breath.
This has been a very good year for Al. Lots of walleye and a successful bear hunt.
Good Hunting, MOOSE

He shot it east of Ludington in the Lower Peninsula. It took him a long time to get enough points for that unit. The 338-06 really rocked this bear he said.
Good Luck Hunting, MOOSE
