Hit the lake  today 9 to 3pm, kind of slow.  I got 16 keepers. buds did about the same.  We had alot of action but not to much for the buckets.  Traveled the whole area a lot of space  out there, with alot of guys.  Jigging, with bait and without.

Sweetwater, when you say jigging, are you using spoons like Ken's or jigging Raps. I was out today caught about 30 with 4 keepers. I made myself a rule nothing in the bucket under 8" I hate to clean dinks. I cleaned the 4 and ate them, and they were really good, but I could have used 10 more. Tried Ken's, Raps, & buckshot jig. Selfridge area water kinda murkey 6ft.

Yes some guys use Ken's, slabgrabbers, gusters, all about the same type and style.  I on that day used a jigging spoon gold hammered blade with glow paint.  I seen all types used and all get fish, some better on some days.  Hope this helps.
