Not exactly the Milo Hanson buck...but I'm awully darn proud of myself nontheless!;)

Saw NOTHING opening day (my brother got a 7 pointer 200 yards away from me). We didn't hunt Saturday because of the rain, We did Sunday morning, but the gale force winds didn't help.

I had an off day this morning so I went out, half asleep because I was up 'till 1 am, sat by 6:15...had him down by 8. Home by 11.

5 pointer (should have been a 6).  Maybe 120-130# dressed I guess? 28 yds with the Barnett Quad 400 crossbow. Pfffft. It was textbook. Double lung shot. Ran 40 yds. Almost too easy.

Nice deer. It will be good eating. And those Barnett crossbows are all that they claim. Dollar for dollar, they are the best on the market. What broadhead do you use?
Good Hunting, MOOSE
