First 2 pike of the season, last monday, 5-3-10. Went out tuesday morning but had a perfect crosswind that was just a little too much to keep the old lumi over the weedbeds. Got them up on the north end by Anchor Bay, in the weedbeds out by Grassy Island, cruising over the tops of the weeds. They both hit on good old Johnson Silver Minnows, with red and white curley porkrinds. They measured 26 and 28 inches.![]() ![]() Made for great dinner! Baked with Miracle Bake breading, that I got from Mejiers, and it's better than the old Shake and Bake.
