Found this brute on the left, while looking for antler sheds this spring.  He was only 10 minutes from my house ...... silly me ...... I go to the Upper Peninsula to hunt each season.

He was very thick and extremely sysmetrical, so I took him down and put him in the garage because he made my hunting trophy look small.  :)

One of the walls of the Houghton lake cabin...

My grandfather shot the one with the single antler before I was born. His CB handle was always "brokenhorn" because of it.

The best mount I have is the blue bill I shot in 2007 Day before thanksgiving while layout hunting.  This bird was banded and was 20 years and 5 months old.

Thanks, hope to add more this year if the wife will let me :) Blue Bill was done out in Colorado Birdman studios,  Wood duck, Mallard, Buffleheads and Pheasant were done at Lambardos Taxidermy out of Fair haven and the Canvasback, Ring neck, Old Squaw and Brant were done by a friend that owns After the Hunt Taxidermy
