Michigan House Bill 5775 wants to ban the use of lead in Michigan Waters. This was House Bill 6114 in 2004 was sent to committee and died.

We all need to write or e-mail our District Representative and voice our opinion. The banning of

lead for use in fishing is not acceptable. Do not sit on your hands and think someone else will fight

this battle for us. It is up to all of us to voice our opinion and defeat this bill.
